IT.Senior Developer

• The PE IT team supports Citco s fast growing Private Equity (PE) Fund Administration business
• The data and applications environment supports our global PE business teams and clients with approximately $400 billion under administration
• The Senior Application Developer works closely within a cross-functional organization of business stakeholders, developers, and infrastructure engineers to understand business- related challenges, design process and technical solutions, and, ultimately, solve problems to address business-motivated changes
• Its time to add someone to our team who can take the design, development and support of our PE applications to the next level

To be successful, the individual must have excellent communication, problem-solving and analytical skills with an ability and willingness to try new and modern technologies to meet the requirements of the product. Strong knowledge of FIS Investran, the Microsoft development stack, system software administration, coupled with solid, test-driven development practices are keys to a successful candidate.

• Should have a strong knowledge on SQL
• 5+ years of demonstrated experience configuring and supporting FIS Investran solutions
• Strong knowledge of the Investran application suite including Accounting, Report Wizard, CRM and Reporting Services
• Good understanding of the Investran data model and available SDKs and APIs
• Experience of Active Templates, Allocation Rules, Data Import Utility (DIU), Active Templates and Business Events.
• Working knowledge of accounting and reporting principles in the Private Equity area
• Outstanding troubleshooting skills
• Experience improving performance and reliability of production systems
• Strong knowledge of software design patterns, OOD, DDD, BDD
• Experience with continuous integration frameworks and processes, test-driven development (TDD) and automated testing technologies (Selenium, RestAssured or similar)
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and best practices and experience with project management tools such as Jira
• Knowledge of and experience with SDLC frameworks such as Waterfall, SCRUM and KANBAN
• Demonstrated team player, self-starter, and independent thinker with good communication and team collaboration skills
• Must be able to handle multiple assignments simultaneously and have strong organizational skills
• Ability to contribute to projects in a fast-paced environment
• Effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Provide technical leadership to more junior team members and assist PMs with project planning and task assignment
• Ability to work with team in other locations, across different timezones
• Availability and willingness to travel occasionally to other Citco locations
• bachelors Degree in Computer Sciences, Information Systems or equivalent
