About the Team Business Line:

As a core member of our Risk IT team, you will to ensure our clients maintain access to their critical information while keeping Citco ahead of industry trends.

Your Role:

• The Risk Team Lead will oversee a growing team of Java and QLIK developers in Hyderabad. QLIK (or any BI) knowledge though desired is not essential
• Verbal and Written communication must be excellent.
• Proven track record on Leading, Managing and Organizing teams
• The Team Lead will assist developers and will also actively develop
• Support SDLC (design, development, testing and deployment)
• Perform code reviews, ensure code quality and stream line processes and documentation
• The candidate must have hands on experience and knowledge of technologies: Java 8, Tomcat and JBoss servers, Oracle database with PL/SQL, Sencha JS
• Have worked with AWS Cloud technologies
• Good working knowledge of Unix and GIT will be beneficial
• React JS, Node JS and Python is advantageous

About You:

• B.S. Computer Science or Mathematics preferred
• M.S. Computer Science, Mathematics, or Finance a plus.
• Minimum of 12 years technical experience of application development experience and 3+ years of experience as a team lead.
• 3 years experience in Financial Services
• Must have excellent listening, questioning and analytic skills
• Must be able to work in high-pressured and complex IT environment, where working with many other IT teams and coordinating with everyone s roles is needed
• Flexibility and ability to deal with change.
• Flexibility in work schedule according to project and business needs.
• Must be able to work independently with instruction from Development Manager
• Must be comfortable working in Agile / Waterfall methodologies to track, report, and deliver.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines to produce quality code following SDLC to meet Business expectations.
• Automated testing experience a plus.
• Exposure to JIRA and Confluence a plus.
• Exposure to Jasper Reports is a plus
• Strong background in object-oriented programming and design
• Proficient in creating web applications using Spring Framework (Spring MVC, Spring Boot)
• Experience in Java application memory profiling
