Software Engineer

You have a unique opportunity to be part of the product development from ground up (Platforms and Software). You would be part of a dynamic testing team which works hand-in-hand with development team as a cohesive unit to deliver extraordinary quality products. You will have ownership of multiple components and play an important role in understanding new feature requirements, developing test design based on functional specifications, automating them and engaging with customers. You will be interacting with peer engineers / technical leaders within the BU on design/functional and architectural aspects of features and components across Cisco products. As a software QA engineer in this group, you will be responsible for testing, automating enabling platform/software solutions for customers. You will also have an exciting time working on the Storage Area Network along with Ethernet for Ciscos product line.

Data Center Networking Group develops the Nexus 9000 line of data center and cloud switches that feature application awareness to make the network infrastructure flexible and agile for dynamic response to application needs and virtual machine workload mobility. Data Center also developed a 400G, 800G Ethernet transceiver crafted to drastically lower the optics price to out challenge the competitor offerings.
