Experience : 3 - 8 years

Job Summary :

CirrusLabs is seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP ABAP Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP ABAP, particularly in S/4HANA environments, and will be capable of handling end-to-end implementation projects. This role requires a strong understanding of RICEF development, CDS views, OData, and Fiori development, along with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Roles and Responsibilities :

Development and Implementation :

- Design, develop, and implement custom RICEF (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms) solutions in SAP S/4HANA.

- Participate in all phases of end-to-end SAP implementation projects, including design, development, deployment, and hypercare.

- Develop and maintain ABAP reports (ALV and Fiori-based), interfaces (IDOCs, BAPIs), forms (Smart Forms, Adobe Forms), conversions, and enhancements.

S/4HANA Development :

- Develop CDS views and OData services for S/4HANA applications.

- Contribute to Fiori front-end development (added advantage).

Technical Expertise :

- Utilize ABAP Workbench and Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP) for development tasks.

- Implement enhancements using BADIs, user exits, and other enhancement techniques.

- Work with functional modules and BAPIs.

- Implement SAP Notes and manage SAP incidents.

Testing and Support :

- Perform thorough testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

- Analyze and resolve critical defects during SIT and UAT phases.

- Provide hands-on support to the support team and troubleshoot post-go-live issues.

Collaboration and Communication :

- Work effectively with functional consultants, business analysts, and other team members.

- Communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Work independantly, and support less experienced team members.

Required Skills :

Technical Skills :

- 7+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development.

- Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA.

- Proficiency in RICEF development (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms).

- Experience with CDS views and OData services.

- Experience with Fiori development (added advantage).

- Expertise in ABAP Workbench and OOABAP.

- Knowledge of enhancements (BADIs, user exits), IDOC interfaces, and BAPIs.

- Strong debugging skills.

- Experience with SAP Note implementation and SAP Incident management.

Project Experience :

- Experience in at least 1-2 end-to-end SAP implementation projects.

- Experience with all phases of the SDLC.

General Skills :

- Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent work experience.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

- Ability to work independantly, and as a team member.

Preferred Skills (Added Advantage) :

- SAP Certification.

- SAP Treasury/Finance functional skills.
