Job Description

Cimpress is looking for Manager WFM and Analytics for remote locations across India.



ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Acts as subject matter expert related to the effective use of analytical methodologies, particularly those related to regression, decision tree, time series data, forecasting, and econometric modeling.
  • Provides strategic recommendations to achieve Service Level and utilization goals.
  • Be accountable for core workforce management functions, including trend analysis, staff and hiring planning, employee scheduling, and real time management.
  • Lead cross-functional projects using advanced data modeling and analysis techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities.
  • Build, develop and maintain data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics support that support key business decisions.
  • Organize and drive successful completion of data insight initiatives through effective management of analyst and data employees and effective collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Keep abreast of industry news and trends.
  • Be accountable for the monitoring of system and performance related issues and monitoring Corrective Action through resolution.
  • Champion the culture of data driven decision making within the organization.

  • Support efforts to create transparency and enthusiasm for company's vision and mission.
  • Managing a team with a diverse array of talents and responsibilities WFM & Analytics
  • Coach & Mentor team members to deliver outstanding performance.
  • Identify and help team members develop the skills they need to deliver outstanding customer value through regular feedback conversations, coaching sessions, or team-based learning and exchange opportunities.
  • Enable individuals and the team to remove impediments that prevent them from exceeding expectations in their work.
  • Create a fun and engaging working environment that encourages personal responsibility and mutual support.
  • Support from reporting managers and other functions to better meet team members' needs and help them grow through regular feedback.
  • Make well-informed decisions regarding probationary periods and other employment related matters.
  • Ensure disciplinary discussions and actions for employees occur in an empathetic, transparent, accurate and timely manner.
  • Encourage the team to proactively come up with improvement ideas and to raise issues regarding processes, systems, tools, and performance.

MUST HAVE SKILLS, EDUCATION & BEHAVIORS

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive Workforce Management & analytics experience in a leadership role
  • In-depth knowledge of operational management & workforce management methodologies and principles
  • Proven experience managing a team.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Understanding of project management
  • Experience working with and creating databases and dashboards using all relevant data to inform decisions.


Skills Required:

  • Ability to align the strategy of what will work within the scheduling sphere, with the ongoing reality and demands of the department and business.
  • In depth understanding of Long-Term Resource Planning, Budgeting and Scheduling Processes.
  • Proven experience as an analytics Manager or relevant role
  • Solid experience in data analysis and reporting; industry experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and delegation skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Problem-solving & solution-oriented mindset
  • Nice to Have: Background in market research and project management
  • Nice to Have: Knowledge of Excel, R and SQL; familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, SAS)
  • Nice to Have: Experience with big data tools: Teradata, Aster, Hadoop, etc.
