Architecture Senior Manager

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Front End Architect to join our team at Cigna International Health. This role will report directly to the Chief Architect and will be responsible for architecting and designing modern, highly scalable, secure, and performant end-to-end full stack digital platforms. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in React JS for web apps and React Native for mobile apps, and will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive consistency and reuse across projects.

Responsibilities

• Architecture and Design:
  • Architect modern, highly scalable, secure, and performant end-to-end full stack digital platforms using React JS for web apps and React Native for mobile apps to deliver high-quality customer experiences.
  • Design loosely coupled, highly reusable React components for both web and mobile, adhering to a build-once-deploy-more ethos for a complex, multi-region, multi-line-of-business global organization.
  • Integrate React web and mobile apps with headless CMS to drive content for multi-user profiles and languages.
  • Design robust, highly scalable Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) solutions to bridge front-end apps and backend APIs.
  • Architect cloud-based, highly scalable, extensible, and secure API layers using RESTful/GraphQL for seamless integrations.
  • Implement cloud-native deployments and API orchestration models.
  • Ensure the integration of React apps with analytics platforms.
  • Implement OIDC (OAuth) and SAML authentication and authorization protocols.

• Collaboration:
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including CX/UX/UI designers, backend engineers, and product owners, to drive commonalities, consistency, and reuse across projects.
  • Collaborate with the Chief Architect and other senior stakeholders to align digital front-end architecture with the overall enterprise architecture vision and strategies.
  • Participate in agile transformation initiatives, with a strong emphasis on SAFe methodology.

Requirements

• Bachelors or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in front-end architecture, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Extensive experience in React JS and React Native.
• Strong understanding of headless CMS, BFF solutions, and cloud-native deployments.
• Proficiency in RESTful/GraphQL API design and implementation.
• Familiarity with OIDC (OAuth) and SAML authentication and authorization protocols.
• Experience in integrating front-end applications with analytics platforms.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
