Role & responsibilities

Job Summary:We are looking for a Market Access Data Analytics Subject Matter Expert (SME) with 3 to 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical domain. The ideal candidate will have direct experience with Market Access Contract Analytics, forecasting, pricing analysis, and distributor contract analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Market Access Horizon Scan: Perform horizon scans to identify emerging trends and potential opportunities or threats in the market access landscape. Experience in HEOR and RWD is advantageous. Continuously develop a strong understanding of the market access space and expertise in specific domains as required.
• Pricing and Reimbursement Assessment: Conduct detailed assessments of pricing and reimbursement landscapes for pharmaceutical and healthcare products.
• Health Plan and Formulary Analysis: Evaluate health plans to understand coverage policies and their impact on market access. Analyze and interpret formulary data to provide actionable insights for product market access strategies.
• Perform Forecasting analysis for distinct types of contracts that include Pharmacy Benefit Managers, Specialty Pharmacies, Group Purchasing Organizations, Hospitals, IDN customers, Long Term Care Organizations, 3PLs, Distributors and Wholesalers using Prescription Claims data, Reimbursement data, Distributor data and any other relevant data sources.
• Lead and Collaborate with Key Customer discussions across Channel & Trade Relations, Contract Operations, and Patient Services to present the business cases for review and approvals.
• Project Management: Manage and execute projects adhering to timelines and deliverables. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to understand research and analysis requirements, and address data gaps. Demonstrate complete ownership of assigned tasks and projects, ensuring their successful completion.
• Strong organizational, analytical, problem solving, planning, and decision-making skills.
• Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and market access landscape across Oncology, Immunology, Neurology and Rare Disease areas.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a challenging environment.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint technical and content strategy skills.
• Ability to present to, interact with, and support senior level stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively in internal and client meetings.
• Develop high-quality, error-free deliverables with great diligence, ensuring comprehensive and insightful analysis.
• Contribute to Advanced Analytics innovation, Product features, conduct training sessions with team members to support skill development. Provide thoughtful leadership and support proposal efforts with guidance from senior leadership.
• Required Skills & Experience:
• 3 to 5 years of experience in Market Access Contracting analytics, Commercial Analytics, and data visualization, specifically in the pharma/healthcare domain.
• Deep understanding of PBM, GPO, Distribution data sources, provider affiliations, specialty mappings, and commercial pharma datasets.
• Strong SQL skills for data querying, data cleansing, visualization, and analysis.
• Exposure to cloud-based data analytics platforms (AWS, Snowflake, Dataiku).
• Experience in data analysis and forecasting, AI/ML-driven model creation and deployment, and data validation techniques across multiple data sources.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to interact with business and IT teams.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelors or masters degree
• Experience with IQVIA Xponent Track, Symphony Health, Komodo Claims, Chargeback data, EHR_Datasets or other pharma data providers.
