Job Description
Senior QA Engineer
You will:
- Lead and manage test strategies for motor and other Choice Finx products.
- Develop and execute complex test cases across multiple platforms.
- Identify, document, and prioritize defects using defect management tools.
- Collaborate with business analysts and developers for complete test coverage.
- Streamline workflows and optimize testing processes.
- Plan and coordinate testing tasks to meet project deadlines.
- Provide clear and actionable test reports to stakeholders.
- Continuously refine testing methodologies and integrate industry best practices.
- Mentor junior testers and foster a quality-driven team culture.
- Perform database testing, write SQL queries, and validate data integrity.
- Analyze application logs, pinpoint issues, and collaborate on resolutions.
- Manage error handling, caching (Redis), and performance testing of APIs.
- Verify HTTP protocols, Linux-based testing, and socket communication.
You have:
- 5+ years of hands-on software testing experience.
- 2+ years in the FinTech domain , understanding Choice Finx s workflows.
- Expertise in functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Proficiency in JIRA, TestRail , and defect tracking tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with test automation (Selenium, QTP is a plus).
- Proficiency in SQL for database validation.
- Knowledge of Redis, HTTP protocols, and Linux-based testing .
- Experience in API performance testing and socket-based communication.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
