Job Description
You will:
- Lead the development and delivery of software applications, ensuring alignment with both functional and technical requirements.
- Oversee the technical design process, guiding teams through the analysis of technical application requirements and system specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess project needs, create technical roadmaps, and ensure alignment of technology with business objectives.
- Provide leadership in the evaluation, selection, and implementation of new technologies, tools, and frameworks.
- Ensure the proper execution and documentation of testing processes, providing support and guidance to developers for troubleshooting and debugging.
- Drive continuous improvements in development processes, tools, and methodologies, including code reviews, testing strategies, and deployment pipelines.
- Mentor and coach software engineers, fostering skill development and promoting best practices in coding and system design.
- Manage project timelines, risks, and resources, ensuring project deliverables are completed on time and within budget. You have:
- Proven experience in leading software development teams and managing projects from conception to delivery.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), design patterns, and software architecture principles.
- Deep knowledge of relational database design, querying, and optimization techniques.
- Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git) and experience in managing branching, merging, and release processes.
- Expertise in client\/server application development and familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with agile development methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban.
- Solid experience with unit testing, test automation, and continuous integration\/continuous deployment (CI\/CD) pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
