Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fabric Finishing Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabric finishing processes, particularly for cotton, polyester, viscose, linen, and blended fabrics. The Fabric Finishing Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the finishing operations, ensuring high-quality fabric output, and efficiently managing the Stenter Finishing Machine.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise the fabric finishing process for cotton, polyester, viscose, linen, and blended fabrics, ensuring high-quality output and compliance with client specifications.
• Operate and manage the Stenter Finishing Machine to achieve desired fabric properties such as smoothness, shrinkage control, and color consistency.
• Monitor and control finishing parameters such as temperature, speed, tension, and chemicals to optimize fabric finishing results.
• Ensure the effective use of finishing chemicals, lubricants, and softeners for different types of fabrics.
• Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of the Stenter Finishing Machine to prevent production delays and minimize downtime.
• Lead and manage a team of finishing operators, providing guidance on operating procedures, safety protocols, and quality standards.
• Perform quality control checks to ensure that finished fabrics meet the required specifications, ensuring consistency in texture, color, and overall appearance.
• Resolve any finishing-related issues, including fabric defects, color variations, or machine malfunctions.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards during the fabric finishing process.
• Maintain accurate records of finishing parameters, production batches, and any relevant data for traceability.
• Continuously improve processes to enhance fabric quality, reduce waste, and optimize production efficiency.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Fabric Finishing Supervisor or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of fabric finishing techniques and machine operation.
• Hands-on experience with Stenter Finishing Machines and a solid understanding of the finishing process for cotton, polyester, viscose, linen, and blended fabrics.
• In-depth knowledge of finishing chemicals, machine settings, and fabric properties.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to guide and motivate finishing operators.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues in the finishing process.
• Ability to work in both shifts (flexible hours as required by the production schedule).
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations in the textile industry.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in Textile Engineering or a related field.
• Additional experience with other finishing machines or techniques is a plus.
