Roles and Responsibilities:

As a Business Analyst at the Chimes Group, you will work closely with the business management teams and promoter group to create, optimize and evolve the financial models and operating processes at all the group companies. Some of your key responsibilities will be to:

• Identify and communicate with key stakeholders, including the Board of Directors
• Gather, review and analyze business and industry data, financial reports and other key metrics using data analytics tools
• Facilitate the planning and preparation of the annual financial budget for each business, by engaging all key stakeholders in the respective businesses
• Carefully monitor the financial and operating plan, highlight variances and engage relevant stakeholders from within the organization to initiate remedial action
• Liaise between various business departments and groups
• Assess options for process improvement, including business process modelling
• Maintain documentation regarding various projects, processes and operations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across businesses
• Maintain the companys financial model and keep them updated to work with bankers and third party analysts when needed, and eventually with investors
• Prepare financial models based on both long term and short term funding needs.
• Conduct research and analyze investment opportunities for the Chimes Group on a case-by-case basis.

• Ability to understand different businesses and have an inquisitive learning mindset.
• Ability to effectively communicate and engage in debate with key stakeholders to support proposed strategies, process improvements and operational decisions
• Excellent communication skills and clarity of thought
• Resourcefulness and creative problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Proven ability to glean actionable insights from large and complex data sets

Qualifications Required:

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in commerce, business studies or economics from an accredited university
• An MBA in Finance or a CFA would be an advantage
• A working knowledge of key Financial Ratios and their interpretation is a must
