We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst who will play a key role in analysing and interpreting financial data to support strategic decision-making. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing the financial performance of the company through a comprehensive understanding of P&L statements, EBITDA calculations, and Unit Metrics. The ideal candidate should have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities :
Financial Analysis : Conduct a thorough analysis of Profit and Loss statements, identifying key drivers and trends. Calculate and interpret EBITDA to assess the company s operational profitability. Analyse Unit Metrics to evaluate performance at a product or business unit level.
Forecasting and Budgeting : Collaborate with various departments to develop accurate financial forecasts and budgets. Monitor actual financial performance against forecasts, providing insights into variations.
Reporting : Generate regular and ad-hoc reports on financial performance for management review. Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, translating complex financial concepts into actionable insights.
Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with teams across the organization to gather relevant data and insights. Collaborate with business leaders to understand operational drivers and provide financial support for decision-making.
Process Improvement : Identify opportunities for process improvement in financial reporting and analysis. Implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial processes.
Qualifications :
Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A plus is an MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA). Proven experience as a Financial Analyst with a focus on P&L, EBITDA, and Unit Metrics. Advanced proficiency in financial modelling and analysis using tools such as Excel. Strong understanding of financial systems and reporting tools. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
