Experience: 8 to 15 Years of Experience in Electrical System for Thermal Power projects.
Qualification: Master or bachelor s degree in electrical engineering.

1. Project Management and Coordination:

• Act as the primary point of contact with TCE (Tata Consulting Engineers) for all electrical design and engineering activities related to thermal power projects .
• Prepare and review layout drawings and ensure timely submission and approval from relevant stakeholders.
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely submission of drawings, review them for compliance, and follow up with TCE for necessary approvals.
• Resolve interfaces issues with Vendors, TCE and Other departments.

2. Electrical Systems Expertise:

• Design, review, and oversee electrical systems including switchyards, power transformers, bus ducts, high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage (LV) switchgear, cabling, and cable trays.
• Large generator capacity up to 800 MW and its auxiliaries.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to ensure alignment with project specifications and best practices.
• Ensure that the drawings are in line with technical specification and statutory requirements.
• Possess a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and industry standards.
• Have a proven track record in handling complex electrical systems in thermal power plants.
• Be proficient in electrical design and analysis tools.

3. BOP Package Oversight:

Conduct detailed reviews and oversee electrical systems for Balance of Plant (BOP) packages, including:

1. Water treatment plants ( WTP, PTP, DM, CWTP , GCP, Etc )
2. Ash Handling Plants (AHP)
3. Coal Handling Plants (CHP)
4. Mill Reject Systems,
5. EOT Cranes and Hoist,
6. Condensate polishing Units,
7. IDCT, NDCT ETC.

4. Issue Resolution and Interface Management:

• Identify and resolve interface issues through effective coordination with vendors, engineering divisions, and TCE.

• Ensure smooth integration of all electrical systems with project timelines and deliverables.

5. Compliance and Quality Assurance:

• Ensure all designs comply with statutory requirements, project standards, and regulatory norms.

• Maintain high-quality documentation and ensure adherence to design philosophy and technical requirements.

6. Vendor and Stakeholder Coordination:

• Collaborate with vendors to streamline the submission and approval of technical documents and drawings.

• Facilitate effective communication between TCE, vendors, and other project teams to maintain alignment on project goals.
