Manager - Security

Experience

More than 10+ years of work experience in applications and systems with minimum 3 years in a similar role

• Hands-on experience with operating and maintaining large scale systems operations across geographies and diverse businesses
• Experience in developing SOPs (with policies and matrices) for Systems Management
• Familiarity with end-to-end security operations including Access Control, Traffic Management, Patrolling & Surveillance, Control Room Operations
• Experience of dealing with multiple stakeholders - internal as well as external

Education Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, or related field
• Master's degree or MBA in Operations Management or a relevant field (preferred)

Certification Required

• Valid mining certification or license as per local regulatory requirements
• Certifications in safety management, environmental compliance, or related areas (preferred)

Strategy Initiatives

• Engage with the business security team to understand their security applications and computer systems requirements
• Manage the execution of the applications and systems projects at the Corporate/BU/Site level
• Provide support in collecting and analysing cost data for monetary evaluations of proposed projects through cost analysis, budget estimation and ROI analysis
• Monitor adherence to project budgets through continuous review; Address budget overruns/ deficit if any
• Stay abreast with the new trends, latest technologies and advanced security applications and computer systems, to continually improve the Security infrastructure at Adani
• Adapt the latest trends to Adani context to build a better integrated, innovative and more efficient security technology ecosystem
• Support in formulating policy framework and matrices for updating security applications and computer systems
• Manage the execution of the organisation-wide diagnostic tests to evaluate the maturity of security processes; Identify technological interventions to drive process excellence
• Prepare design documents for Security Applications and Systems and validate from domain lead
• Gather site/ business requirements and align the Security Applications and systems with the stated requirements
• Coordinate with respective partner and internal stakeholders to drive the automation projects in a collaborative and time-bound manner
• Lead execution of all phases of the project at the site-level; Deploy the new systems and applications, and facilitate training sessions in collaboration with the technology partner at the sites to ensure seamless adoption
• Monitor adherence of the project to the group-defined frameworks
• Monitor the progress of the projects on pace of execution to ensure timely execution of the projects
