5. Job description:
− Prepare, manage, and coordinate daily production schedules to ensure timely manufacturing of products
− Supervise all departments within the facility, including production, quality control, maintenance, packaging, warehouse, and logistics
− Ensure that all machinery and equipment are running efficiently and troubleshoot any operational issues promptly to minimize downtime
− Monitor raw material availability and coordinate with the procurement team to avoid production delays due to shortages
− Review and approve daily production reports, ensuring adherence to planned output, quality standards, and efficiency metrics
− Design and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all stages of the manufacturing process, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory standards
− Ensure Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) are followed rigorously across all production lines
− Utilize automation systems and advanced manufacturing technologies to streamline processes, reduce manual intervention, and enhance productivity
− Oversee the packaging and labelling processes to ensure products meet all quality and regulatory requirements before distribution
− Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as production output, cycle times, waste reduction, and equipment utilization to optimize factory performance
− Identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies in the production process and implement corrective actions to improve throughput and reduce costs
− Conduct regular quality audits and work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure compliance with FSSAI and other regulatory requirements
− Work closely with R&D, procurement, sales, and logistics teams to align production with market demand and customer requirements
− Liaise with maintenance and engineering teams to schedule routine equipment maintenance and address any technical issues affecting production
− Collaborate with the supply chain team to manage inventory levels and optimize raw material procurement and finished goods distribution
− Ensure the factory operates in compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations
− Oversee regular safety drills and training programs to maintain a safe working environment for all employees
− Manage compliance with Special Economic Zone (SEZ) regulations for smooth operations in both domestic and international markets
− Drive a culture of continuous improvement by regularly reviewing and refining production processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and lower production costs
− Identify opportunities for energy efficiency and sustainable practices to reduce the factory's environmental footprint.
