Estimation Proposal Engineer

Minimum Qualification: Diploma / Degree Instrumentation/Electronics.

Minimum Experience: 1-7 yrs. in Estimation and Costing of PLC Control Panels and Automation solutions.

Brief description of the role:

Plan and carry out various activities of Estimation Department to prepare the appropriate techno commercial offer within the stipulated time frame.

Responsibility:

The major responsibilities of this role are:

• Understand the requirements and prepare a scheme / solution as per the enquiry received. Sales Co ordination activities for better understanding & response.
• Preparation of IO List, Selection of PLC, HMI, SCADA, VFDs, Servos etc. as per the enquiry received.
• Calculation & selection of Control Transformer, Power Supply ,Communication cables and protocols for Automation system, Instrumentation , Cable Sizing etc.
• Preparation of BOQ, estimation for PLC panels considering various types of cost involved ( e.g. Hardware, Programming cost for PLC,SCADA,HMI appropriately, Site Commissioning etc. ).
• Sales Co ordination including Technical Sales Presentation.
• Preparation of PLC Panel GA Drawing, SLD, Control circuits considering specifications, BOQ and customer requirement.
• Evaluating Technical & commercial offer from vendors & preparation of comparative statements
• Submission of tender along with required documents, guarantees etc. Keeping documents in proper format after submitting tender
• Analysis and Review of Orders received, orders lose, Cost of Projects completed : Estimate Vs. Actual
• Actual costing of completed projects for benchmarking
• Send Internal working in time to Estimation head.
• Send budgetary offer consulting with HOD.
• Discussion with Customer & Vendors for Technical Inputs
