Technical Program Manager

Role Details:

As a Technical Program Manager at Beetexting, you will translate business objectives into actionable technical plans and deliverables. Your prior hands-on coding experience and background in building SaaS products are essential, enabling you to have meaningful technical discussions with engineers, guide architectural decisions, and ensure that our solutions are both innovative and scalable. In this role, you will be responsible for aligning teams, removing roadblocks, and ensuring timely, high-quality delivery.

Position: Technical Program Manager

Location: Hyderabad (Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities:

• Program Leadership: Plan, execute, and deliver complex projects across cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Technical Insight: Engage deeply with developers using our core stack (Java, AWS, Python, MongoDB, Angular), identifying potential technical challenges, contributing to solution design, and supporting scalable architectures, distributed systems.
• Strategic Alignment: Translate high-level business requirements into detailed technical roadmaps and prioritize initiatives for maximum impact.
• Agile Execution: Lead Agile ceremonies, maintain an organized backlog, and optimize sprint processes for efficiency and quality output.
• Risk & Dependency Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, manage dependencies, and maintain clear communication around timelines and deliverables.
• Process Improvement: Continuously refine program management methodologies, improve team workflows, and increase overall productivity.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive technical specifications, architectural documentation, and transparent progress reports.
• Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the key liaison between business and engineering, manage cross team projects, ensuring everyone understands objectives, timelines, and constraints.
• Issue Resolution: Facilitate quick resolution of technical issues, working closely with developers to debug, troubleshoot, and ensure successful deployments.
• Driving quality assurance teams towards ensuring software quality.
• Excellent verbal & written communication.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in a Technical Program Manager, Project Manager, or similar role in software development.
• Prior hands-on coding experience is a must.
• Proven track record building and delivering SaaS products.
• Strong grasp of system architectures, APIs, modern software development tools, and best practices.
• Proficiency with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
• Demonstrated experience managing complex, cross-functional engineering projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to deliver software products on time, within scope, and at high quality.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Familiarity with our core technologies: Java, AWS, Python, MongoDB, and Angular.
• Experience scaling messaging or communication platforms.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP or Scrum Master.
