Job Description
- Maintain deep technical and business knowledge of electric vehicle and fleet directions and trends, and how to effectively integrate electric vehicles and charging infrastructure into fleet and business operations.
- Develop and deliver technical proposals to partners and customers in support of the sales process, educating potential customers on the benefits of ChargePoint solutions
- Act as a technical consultant, learning and understanding customer needs and developing the right solutions; working with product and solutions management to help align development activities with customer and market needs (focused on the up-to-Day 0 phase).
- Providing technical training on our products and solutions to partners
- Maintain knowledge of the competitive landscape and how to sell against the competition
- Responsible for identifying technical issues that may affect customer satisfaction and proactively working to resolve such issues
- Provide both general best practice and customer-specific engineering recommendations for ChargePoint software feature usage, API implementations, and integrations with external systems.
- Respond to functional and technical elements of RFPs/Tenders; assist in the development and execution of SoWs (statements of work) and other proposals
- You will be responsible for the proper handover to the Program Management team in order to create a smooth Day 0 to Day 1 transition.
- Respond to Information Security / Information Technology (IS/IT) questions related to network security and data privacy
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of combined experience in a systems engineering, telecommunications, information technology or technical consulting capacity
- EV charging backend, Telematics or Energy Management experience beneficial
- Excellent oral and written communication skills - English desired, German considered highly beneficial
- Strong customer facing and relationship building skills
- Team player
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or equivalent preferred.
