Channel Head - Banking

Role and Responsibilities

• Responsible to drive the entire BD for Private Banking business for the Region.
• To ensure marketing activities and business promotional activities with the entire private banking distribution channel of region.
• To ensure quality sales and service to all channel partners of distributions.
• To promote and enhance business of various products and offerings in banking distribution.
• To build, develop & enhance relationships across Banks
• Setting up the entire network of Banks in the Region,
• Develop, implement strategy to achieve planned growth objectives for the channel
• Develop, execute and manage retail strategy and tactical business plan, considering the market opportunity/growth potential, competitor activity, existing capabilities and risk appetite
• Ensuring that the mobilization achieved for all the schemes of the company is the best in the industry.
• Assume full accountability for all aspects of sales in their respective channel
• Help in communicating a strong and vibrant brand
• Ensuring increase in Market share in their respective channel business.
• Liaising with his banks / institutions for selling / targeting specific schemes as identified by the Business Head.

Qualification & Experience

• A Masters degree/professional qualifications
• Undergraduate degree; NISM Certified
• At least 8 - 10 years experience in AMC including a minimum of 3 years as Channel Head in the Asset Management Industry
