Accounts Associate

Role & responsibilities

1. Accounting Operations:
• Maintain and update financial records.
• Process invoices, payments, and receipts.
• Prepare journal entries and ensure accurate ledger maintenance.
2. Bank Reconciliation (BRS):
• Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between bank statements and company records.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly.
3. Financial Reporting:
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Assist in the preparation of profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
4. Tally & Zoho Management:
• Use Tally ERP and Zoho Books for day-to-day accounting tasks.
• Ensure proper configuration, data entry, and report generation in both systems.
5. Compliance and Auditing:
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.
• Support in statutory audits, tax filings, and related documentation.
6. General Duties:
• Coordinate with other departments for financial data.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure the integrity of financial information.

Required Skills and Qualifications

1. Education:
• Bachelors degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field (B.Com/M.Com preferred).
2. Experience:
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in accounting roles.
3. Technical Skills:
• Proficient in Tally ERP and Zoho Books.
• Strong understanding of Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS).
• Knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance is a plus.
4. Soft Skills:
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork.
