Job Description
- Develop and execute a comprehensive PR strategy that aligns with company goals, brand image, and key messaging. Work on media outreach, press releases, and company announcements.
- Build and maintain relationships with journalists, bloggers, influencers, and media outlets to secure press coverage, interviews, and features.
- Write engaging press releases, media kits, blog posts, social media content, and other marketing communications that promote brand initiatives and campaigns.
- Oversee the company s social media presence across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and more. Develop and implement social media strategies, create content, and track engagement.
- Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to design and execute PR campaigns and social media initiatives that drive engagement, lead generation, and brand visibility.
- Monitor brand mentions and media coverage, and quickly address any negative publicity or emerging PR issues. Handle crises with professionalism and create strategies to mitigate potential damage to the brand s image.
- Track the performance of PR and social media campaigns using tools like Google Analytics, Hootsuite, and social media insights. Regularly report on metrics such as reach, engagement, traffic, and ROI.
- Stay up-to-date with current PR and social media trends, platform algorithm changes, and industry best practices to ensure the company s strategies are cutting-edge.
Qualifications:
- Experience with SEO, SEM, and digital marketing strategies.
- Understanding of influencer marketing and partnerships.
- Bachelor s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in PR, social media management, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, digital marketing tools, and trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, engaging messages for diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to develop and execute successful media campaigns and social media strategies.
- Analytical mindset with experience tracking and reporting on PR and social media performance.
- Crisis communication experience is a plus.
- Creative, proactive, and solution-oriented with attention to detail.
