Laboratory In-Charge

Job Summary:

Responsible for managing and overseeing the laboratory testing and inspection documents of stainless-steel pipes and tubes to ensure compliance with ASTM & EN standards and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Testing and Inspection Documents: Plan, coordinate, and supervise laboratory testing for SS pipes and tubes, including chemical composition, mechanical properties, corrosion resistance, and its verification.

2. Quality Control: Ensure that all testing and inspection activities are performed in accordance with international standards (e.g., ASTM, ASME, EN & PED).

3. Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results.

4. Training and Development: Train and develop laboratory personnel to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform testing and inspection activities.

5. Reporting and Documentation: Ensure that all test results, inspection reports, and certificates of compliance are accurately documented and reported to customers and stakeholders.

6. Audits and Compliance: Coordinate and participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with ISO system.

7. Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to laboratory processes and procedures to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
