Work collaboratively across all library sections/functional areas, including information retrieval, digital resources, user profiles, circulation desk, document processing, and floor management.
Handle reference queries assist patrons to effectively use library resources.
Contribute to the execution of library events and marketing promotional events.
Perform circulation desk duties, including checking in and checking out library materials, processing holds, and managing overdue items.
Qualifications Skillsets Competencies:
Master s degree in library information science or equivalent program (full time / regular mode).
Additional qualifications like PGDCA, PGDLAN, or PGDLIM qualifications will be an added advantage.
Knowledge / Proficiency in MS office, Koha, D space, portal management IT tools / systems.
Conversant with emerging trends technologies relevant to library services.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility to work during weekends, extended hours and shifts.
Experience:
0-3 years of library experience, preferably in academic / research organizations.
