Job Description: Social Media Manager cum Graphic Designer (Pharma Machinery Manufacturing)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly creative, proactive, and skilled Social Media Manager cum Graphic Designer to join our team at [Company Name], a leading manufacturer of pharma machinery. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and executing the companys social media strategy while creating compelling visual content to engage our target audience, build brand awareness, and drive customer engagement. Your efforts will help reinforce our company’s presence in the pharmaceutical machinery sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Management:

• Develop, implement, and manage the company’s social media strategy across platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and other relevant channels.
• Create and schedule regular posts, updates, and articles that highlight product features, industry trends, company achievements, and case studies.
• Engage with the online community by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly, building relationships with potential customers and industry professionals.
• Analyze social media performance metrics, create reports, and adjust strategies to optimize engagement, reach, and conversions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in social media, and suggest new ways to improve our social media presence and engagement.
• Monitor competitors and industry leaders on social media to identify trends and opportunities for content and engagement.

Graphic Design:

• Create visually appealing and high-quality graphics, illustrations, and promotional materials for social media posts, ads, brochures, presentations, and other marketing materials.
• Design content such as product infographics, machine specifications, video thumbnails, trade show materials, banners, and other digital assets that effectively communicate the brand’s messaging.
• Ensure consistency of brand image, color schemes, typography, and overall design aesthetics across all channels and materials.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop designs that support campaigns and product launches.
• Edit and optimize visual content for web, social media, and print use while maintaining visual quality and brand guidelines.

Content Creation and Strategy:

• Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to create content that showcases the company’s products, innovations, and industry expertise.
• Assist in the creation of written content for blog posts, articles, case studies, product descriptions, and other materials that support the overall content strategy.
• Produce multimedia content, including videos, animations, and interactive media, to present complex machinery and technology in an engaging and understandable format.

Brand Management:

• Ensure that all social media and marketing materials align with the company’s brand identity and voice.
• Monitor and enforce the consistency of brand guidelines across all social media platforms and digital channels.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Work with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, and Engineering) to gather content and insights on new products or features for promotional efforts.
• Assist with event promotion and virtual trade shows via social media.
• Stay informed on changes to social media algorithms, advertising tools, and platforms to continuously refine and enhance strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, or a related field.
• Experience: 2+ years of experience in social media management and graphic design, preferably in the manufacturing, industrial, or pharmaceutical sectors.
• Social Media Expertise: Proficiency in managing business profiles across platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube.
• Design Skills: Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Corel Draw, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and After Effects) or similar design tools.
• Graphic Design & Layout Skills: Strong understanding of layout, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy to create professional and on-brand designs.
• Content Creation: Strong skills in creating compelling content (copywriting and visual) that resonates with target audiences.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to convey complex technical information in an engaging and accessible way.
• Analytics: Familiarity with social media analytics and the ability to adjust strategies based on data insights.
• Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and ability to produce polished, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
• Project Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
• Video Editing (Preferred): Experience with video creation and editing tools (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) is a plus.
