PPC Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION & KRA

REPORTING: PPC MANAGER

DEPARTMENT: PPC

LOCATION: AHMEDABAD

QUALIFICATION: B.E./B.Tech Mechanical

POSITION OBJECTIVE:

To deliver different types of machines with arranging with materials and labor contract [arts as per production plan by follow standard operating procedures of PPC department.

a. Engineer PPC takes machine wise reports from ERP for labor contract (LC) and with materials parts (WM) as per machine wise bill of material.

b. Sr. Engineer PPC make machine serial number wise job card (JC) for different parts

which RAW materials (RM) and sub parts (SP) are lying in stores department.

c. Sr. Engineer PPC also need to ensure that all the parts process to be updated in JC before printing it after detailed study of drawings and ensure raw material and process is updated.

d. Sr. Engineer PPC change the raw material for making nonstandard job card in case of nearest size of raw material store available in stores after concern with GM-Works / PPC manager before making new indent

e. Engineer PPC make decision for manufacturing of different parts through in-house resources or outside vendors after consent with GM-Works/PPC manager.

f. Engineer PPC attach drawings with the job cards and issue to store department for taking these parts in process after marking entry in register if non-technical person is not available in the department..

g. Engineer PPC arrange to send RM parts to supplier end after coordination with store department on daily basis.

h. Engineer PPC check daily reports like raw materials inward / outside QC report / store QC report / WIP part movement report.

i. Engineer PPC communicate to GM-works/ PPC manager for delivery dates of different products as per monthly production plan.

j. Engineer PPC coordinate with stores department for semi-finished parts movement that received from outside suppliers for further process inside.

k. Engineer PPC coordinate with different departments like stores, QC, purchase and

l. Shop floor to ensure proper movement of shortage parts.

m. Engineer PPC raise the shortage parts JC after receiving the day wise material inward reports in ERP.

n. Engineer PPC issue the JC against DRN and ECN if parts belong to WIP machine on daily basis.

a. In absence of other colleagues carry out pending works of absent colleague as per guideline by PPC manager and GM-Works.

b. Coordinate with all PPC staff through internal email only.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

BE/ MECH/ DIPLOMA with 5 + Years of experience in PPC department. He must have good knowledge about PPC department with Machine manufacturing experience.

Basic understanding of English written and spoken .Working Good knowledge of Excel sheet/ Computer / Pivot Table/ V-Lookup/ formulas.
