Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced Email Infrastructure & Deliverability Manager responsible for managing and optimizing email systems, domains, DNS, and ensuring robust deliverability.
This role will oversee email server administration, domain and DNS configurations, email authentication, deliverability monitoring, and integrations with platforms such as Google Workspace, Outlook 365, and Exchange.
The successful candidate will ensure the seamless operation of email communications, strengthen email security, and support high deliverability rates for both transactional and cold email campaigns.
Responsibilities :
- Email Server Administration : Manage and troubleshoot email servers, ensuring uptime, scalability, and security.
Domain and DNS Management : Configure and maintain DNS settings, including MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and other records, to ensure proper email routing and authentication.
- Hosting & Infrastructure : Collaborate with hosting providers and manage hosting environments to support email services effectively.
- Email Authentication & Security : Set up and manage SPF, DKIM, DMARC records to authenticate emails, enhance security, and maintain compliance.
- Exchange & Google Workspace Management : Administer and troubleshoot issues with Exchange servers, Google Workspace, and Outlook 365, ensuring seamless integration and operation.
- Deliverability & Reputation Monitoring : Track domain/IP reputation and deliverability metrics, identify and resolve blacklisting issues, and implement best practices to maintain high inbox placement rates.
- Cold Email Campaigns : Support and consult on cold email best practices, including compliance with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and other regulatory standards.
- User Support & Training : Provide internal support for email-related issues and assist users in troubleshooting common problems across platforms.
- Data Analytics & Reporting : Analyze email metrics to identify trends, provide regular reports on deliverability, and recommend improvements to enhance overall performance.
- Compliance : Ensure all email practices are compliant with industry regulations and best practices for security and data protection.
Qualifications :
- Experience : 7+ years in email infrastructure management, DNS configuration, and deliverability monitoring.
- Technical Expertise : Strong knowledge of email servers, including Exchange and Google Workspace administration, DNS configurations, and email authentication protocols (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
- Familiarity with Tools : Experience with tools for deliverability and reputation monitoring (e., Return Path, Google Postmaster, Barracuda).
- Cold Emailing : Knowledge of cold email campaigns, compliance regulations, and best practices to maximize response rates.
- Troubleshooting Skills : Ability to diagnose and resolve issues related to email deliverability, spam filtering, and domain reputation.
Preferred Skills :
- Experience with Office 365 administration and integration.
- Familiarity with hosting providers and DNS management tools (e., Cloudflare, GoDaddy, Namecheap, Etc,.
- Strong communication skills to support and educate internal users
