What You'll Do:

1. Manage day-to-day on-ground operations efficiently.

2. Coordinate with local teams, vendors, and partners to ensure smooth execution.

3. Identify and resolve operational challenges proactively.

4. Monitor and analyze data to drive improvements in operations.

5. Represent Chalo's values and commitment to the on ground teams.

Must Have:

1. Data Orientation - ability to interpret large sets of data.

2. Excellent People management skills.

3. Ability to prioritize - Plan, deploy resources efficiently: prioritize multiple operations in field and know which one to focus on.

4. Proven track record of chasing and delivering a target.

5. Process Adherence: Ability to create processes and see to it that they are implemented across the team.

6. Stakeholder Management - How to deal with government and built relationship.

Good to have:

1. Ability to work long and odd hours. Flexible (and should have done) to be in field early morning, late nights and for long hours in the bus.

2. Problem solving skills - Crisis management and operational problems.

3. Proven track record of operator/small business owner management and experience.

4. Conversational Fluency in Local Language - Preferred.

5. Attention to detail - doesn't miss out on small details, asks probing questions to understand under- lying issues and go deeper into the problem.

6. Self-motivated/proactive - acts without being told what to do.

7. Adaptable and Agile - ability to stay flexible and cope effectively with change.
