Workshop Manager

Job Summary: The Workshop Manager is responsible for management of assets throughout their entire lifecycle within the warehouse. This includes overseeing all aspects of the evaluation upon receipt, refurbishment, storage, and movement of the beverage vending machines (Brewing Bots). This role requires strong skills in inventory management, Quality Check, Asset Tracking, Process improvement, team management, technical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Experience in beverage vending machines or similar Electrical Appliances is an added advantage. The Workshop Manager will ensure the efficient operation of the Asset Operations, manage a team of QC staff, and coordinate with various departments to meet the companys operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Workshop Operations:

• Manage the refurbishment process, ensuring machines are restored to like new standards before dispatch.
• Maintain inventory levels and ensure accurate record-keeping.
• Ensure zero failure post QC done.
• Replacement of parts and module as per the life of the part.
• Modification / retrofitting of any new hardware.

• Team Management:
• Supervise and train Workshop staff, including assigning tasks, evaluating performance, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Foster a positive work environment, encouraging teamwork and professional growth.

• Logistics & Coordination:
• Coordinate with the logistics team to schedule the transportation and delivery of brewing bots machines to various locations.
• Ensure timely movement of machines from refurbishment to deployment.
• Work closely with the team to address any technical issues during the refurbishment process.

• Quality Control:
• Implement quality control measures to ensure all refurbished machines meet company standards before deployment.
• Conduct regular audits of inventory and equipment condition.

• Health & Safety:
• Enforce health and safety regulations within the warehouse to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
• Regularly inspect equipment and facilities to identify and address potential hazards.

• Co-ordination with the supplier / Manufacture / Factory :
• Closely working with the supplier / Factory on a weekly basis on the process improvement in QC /Asset refurbishment.
• Share regular machine feedback / design feedback to the concerned managers for all the platforms.
• Share regular spare parts feedback to the concerned managers for all the platforms.

• Reporting & Documentation:
• Prepare and submit regular reports on Workshop activities, including machines and spare parts inventory levels, machine refurbishment progress, and staff performance.
• Maintain accurate records of machine movement and refurbishment history.
