Manager /Deputy Manager Direct Taxation

Role & responsibilities

• Assist in Overall Direct Taxation Compliance for Company & Its subsidiary (In India as well as Overseas).
• Assist in Tax Planning and Restructuring for all transactions from Direct tax point of view.
• Representing before relevant authorities for Income tax, TDS & Transfer pricing Assessment.
• Advising the Business on tax impact of transaction.
• Attending assessments, appeals, revisionary proceedings, investigations, summons pertaining to critical issues faced from Tax Department, liaisoning with Advocates and Tax Consultants.
• Assistance in finalizing Tax Audit Report.
• Compilation of Advance tax estimate and payment of advance tax.
• Ensuring completion of Tax Audit and filing of Income-tax Returns.
• Handling Assessments before tax authorities, rectification applications, order giving effects to appellate orders.
• Liaison with advocates and tax consultants as regards appeals before Appellate Tribunal, High Court and Supreme Court.
• Coordinating with other departments on issues faced and rendering advise on structuring of transactions to save taxes.

Preferred candidate profile

• Chartered Accountant (must) with 4+ years of experience in
• Must have Working experience of Income tax, TDS , International tax. Knowledge related to M&A taxation will added advantage.
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
• Comprehensive functional skills and a result driven approach, to mitigate future risks/ problems.
