Manager Design For Power Transformer

Role & responsibilities

• To prepare tender design for transformers and reactors 200 MV, 220 KV Class.
• To prepare customer drawings and documents as per customer specification and relevant standard.
• To prepare manufacturing drawings based on customer drawings and manufacturing standard.
• To prepare bill of material and ordering specification for different raw material and bought out components.
• To prepare calculations for the allocated projects.
• Root cause analysis of design issues related to production and site services.
• Preparation basic electrical design according to customer specification, design verification and validation
• Electrical documentation review and approval, Design review with customers (Internal and external),
• Mechanical and electrical design interface, Design optimization, 765kV tenders, Electrical design plan,
• Team development for 765kV products, Interface with suppliers.
• • To design and develop a cost optimized product which is easy to manufacture. Future team development.
• • To meet budgeted financial parameters, customer satisfaction and optimization for future market share.

Preferred candidate profile

• B.Tech / M.Tech in Electrical engineering.
• 7- 15 years of experience in electrical design of transformers and reactors.
