The Officer - Production is responsible for overseeing and managing the production process within a manufacturing or operational unit. This role focuses on ensuring that production targets are met efficiently while maintaining quality standards and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Production Supervision : Oversee day-to-day production activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Quality Control : Monitor production quality to ensure products meet defined standards and specifications. Implement corrective actions when quality issues arise.
• Resource Management : Coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure the availability of raw materials, equipment, and other resources required for production.
• Process Optimization : Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs.
• Scheduling and Planning : Develop and manage production schedules, ensuring that production deadlines are met while minimizing downtime.
• Safety Compliance : Enforce workplace safety guidelines, ensuring that production operations adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Team Leadership : Lead, motivate, and train production staff to maintain high levels of productivity and adherence to quality standards.
• Troubleshooting : Identify and resolve production issues, including equipment failures or production delays, in a timely manner.
• Reporting : Prepare production reports, including performance metrics, material usage, and any deviations from production schedules.
• Collaboration : Work closely with other departments such as maintenance, engineering, and quality assurance to ensure seamless production operations.

Skills and Qualifications :

• Educational Background : Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or a related field.
• Experience : Proven experience in production, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Process Knowledge : Understanding of production processes, machinery, and equipment used in the industry.
