Job Description
The incumbent would look after strategic sourcing of Electrical & Electronics components.
- Well versed with SAP MM Module
- knowledge of Electrical/Electronic commodity like transformer, choke ,power supply, Fuse, PCBA, electrical panel & cables Etc,
- Experience in manufacturing company, experience in rolling stock/railway industry will be added advantage.
- Process and vendor audit knowledge for selection of right source.
- Detailed knowledge of processes & FAI.
- Negotiation with vendors for better pricing, Quality and contractual agreements
- Prepare cost sheets of various commodities & components and make agreements.
- Settlement of Price inflations.
- Make agreements with Transporters, service providers and outsourcing vendors.
- Prepare annual cost reduction plan and its timely implementation /realisation.
- Dealing with monopolistic supplier & alternate development to reduce dependency.
- Reverse Costing to ensure Competitive Material Prices - Costing from Basics, Material Content (Rate), Process (Rate), Scrap and likely cost estimate of Sourcing items

So much politics. Old employees don't wanna work and even they don't support. Old people running the plant and do not welcome new people and have made a terror environment in plant.
