  • Hands-on experience in accounting software programs like QuickBooks or Tally.
  • Detail-oriented, Strong organizational, and effective time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Be a team player and a self-starter who can get the job done.
  • Excellent problem solving and reconciliation skills are a plus.


Job Title: Accounting Lead/Manager

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Lead / Manager to lead and oversee critical accounting functions. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for ensuring accurate General Ledger (GL) reconciliations, preparing comprehensive financial and management reports, and creating/updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This role also includes managing and supervising the accounting team to ensure adherence to high performance and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. General Ledger Management:

  • Oversee and ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of the General Ledger accounts.
  • Review and resolve discrepancies, errors, or inconsistencies in accounting records.
  • Maintain adherence to company policies and applicable accounting standards.

2. Financial and Management Reporting:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Generate detailed management reports to support decision-making processes.
  • Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations for performance improvement.

3. SOP Creation and Maintenance:

  • Develop, document, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for accounting processes.
  • Ensure that SOPs align with the best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide training to team members on updated processes and ensure compliance.

4. Team Supervision and Development:

  • Manage, mentor, and supervise the accounting team to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Assign responsibilities, set deadlines, and monitor progress to meet client objectives.
  • Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and identify training and development opportunities for team members.
  • Ensure adherence to established workflows, processes, and standards.

5. Process Improvements and Compliance:

  • Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency in accounting processes and workflows.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to maintain seamless financial operations.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (Inter CA, CA, or CMA preferred).
  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
    • Proven track record of managing General Ledger reconciliations, financial reporting and SOP creation / management.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Sage or other ERP Systems) and Microsoft Excel.
    • Knowledge of GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership, coaching, and team management skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
