We are seeking a seasoned Solution Architect who can bridge the gap between business needs and technology.

They should design and implement comprehensive solutions, considering both technical feasibility and business goals.

Solution Architect (E-commerce/BigCommerce).

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Solution Architect specializing in Ecommerce and BigCommerce platforms.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in designing, developing, and implementing robust ecommerce solutions with a deep understanding of payment gateways and various integrations.

This role requires expertise in backend systems based on Microsoft technologies, frontend technologies, and AWS as the cloud infrastructure.

The candidate should also possess domain expertise in Retail and Ecommerce with significant experience across technology domains, driving innovation and modernization.

Key Responsibilities:.

Architecture Design and Development:.

Design and implement scalable, reliable, and high-performing ecommerce solutions on the BigCommerce platform.

Lead the overall architecture for both frontend and backend, ensuring seamless integration between systems.

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and architecture solutions.

Ecommerce Domain Expertise:.

Provide deep insight into the Ecommerce domain, including catalog management, product pricing, checkout process, and customer experience optimization.

Architect solutions that integrate various ecommerce technologies, including payment gateways, shipping solutions, and third-party plugins.

Ensure high-level security and compliance for all ecommerce transactions.

5+ years of specific domain expertise in Retail & Ecommerce.

6+ years of experience in technology domains (e g, software development, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, data & analytics).

2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications and infrastructure.

7+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries.

Depth in one or more services like Analytics, AI/ML, Generative AI, and Modernization.

Cloud Infrastructure (AWS):.

Architect and manage cloud-based ecommerce environments on AWS, focusing on scalability, security, and cost-efficiency.

Ensure proper configuration of AWS services, including EC2, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and others.

Implement CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous delivery and integration.

Adaptability and Problem Solving:.

Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly in dynamic environments.

Proficiency in solution improvement, innovation, and the development of new solutions.

Qualifications:.

2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructure experience.

7+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience.

Should have depth in one or more of these services like Analytics, AI/ML, Generative AI & Modernization etc Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.

Hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and services.

Excellent understanding of microservices architecture, API design, and serverless computing.

Strong business acumen and the ability to align technical solutions with business objectives.
