We are seeking an experienced and dynamic -Content Head- to lead the development and execution of content strategies for our medical communication company. As a content aggregator, our goal is to provide the latest medical updates and research to doctors through our web portal, online courses, and medical conferences. Our content spans updates from prestigious medical journals, leading international conferences, and exclusive interviews with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and subject-matter experts. The ideal candidate will be a creative and visionary professional with a deep understanding of medical science, health, and digital media, who can lead a global content team and drive editorial excellence across all channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Strategy & Leadership:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with the company's mission to deliver cutting-edge medical knowledge to doctors and healthcare professionals through various platforms, including web portals, e-learning courses, and medical events.
- Spearheaded content initiatives to update medical professionals with the latest developments from journals, conferences, and expert interviews, ensuring timely and accurate dissemination of information.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to shape long-term content goals and objectives, keeping in line with market trends and industry needs.
Editorial Excellence & Content Creation:
- Ensure high editorial standards, with a focus on scientific accuracy, clarity, and engagement across all content formats, including written articles, interviews, research summaries, video content, and interactive tools.
- Manage the aggregation and curation of content from key medical sources, translating complex scientific data into accessible and engaging formats tailored to the needs of healthcare professionals.
- Oversee the creation of B2B and B2C marketing content, including product brochures, infographics, eDM campaigns, surveys, analytical reports, and social media posts.
- Ensure consistency of messaging and tone across all communication platforms, maintaining the company's voice as a trusted leader in medical communication.
Team Leadership & Management:
- Build and lead a high-performing global content team of medical writers, editors, and digital content creators, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to team members to ensure the successful execution of content projects and maintain high productivity in a fast-paced environment.
- Coordinate across different cultures and geographies, managing a distributed team while ensuring the delivery of cohesive and impactful content initiatives.
Digital Marketing & Engagement:
- Develop and implement digital strategies to optimize content delivery through multiple channels, including the company website, social media platforms (e.g., Google AdWords, Facebook), newsletters, and webinars.
- Drive audience engagement by creating compelling, data-driven content that resonates with healthcare professionals and encourages interaction with the company's educational resources and tools.
- Utilize AI-driven tools and technology to enhance content interactivity and provide personalized learning experiences for users.
Project Management & Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Manage multiple content projects concurrently, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining the highest quality standards.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders, including pharmaceutical companies, medical societies, and healthcare organizations, to align content strategies with their objectives and ensure mutual success.
- Support the planning and development of medical conferences and eve.
Thought Leadership & Innovation:
- Stay abreast of the latest trends in medical communication, healthcare, and digital media, and bring forward innovative ideas to keep the company's content strategy cutting-edge and relevant.
- Foster relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), subject-matter experts, and advisory board members to continually enhance the quality and credibility of the content delivered.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- A creative and visionary communicator with proven experience in medical communication, content creation, and strategy development.
- Extensive experience in health, science, and medicine, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for a professional audience.
- Proven track record of managing large content teams and projects, with strong leadership skills and the ability to work across multiple geographies and cultures.
- Expertise in digital content creation and engagement strategies across print, web, social media, and multimedia platforms.
- Strong writing and editing skills, with proficiency in creating B2B and B2C marketing materials, infographics, and digital campaigns.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple high-volume projects simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Experience in working with KOLs, experts, and advisory boards to create authoritative and engaging medical content.
- Background in medical journalism, writing, or communication, with a focus on high editorial standards and impactful messaging.
