Quality Analyst

Position Overview: The Quality Analyst to ensures that products, services, and processes meet specified standards of quality and reliability. Working closely with development teams, stakeholders, and clients, the QA evaluates, tests, and ensures compliance with established quality guidelines to enhance customer satisfaction and business efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance Testing:

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to identify software bugs or process inefficiencies.
• Perform functional, regression, performance, and usability testing.
• Analyze test results and track defects through the development lifecycle.

Process Monitoring and Improvement:

• Assess existing processes to ensure alignment with quality standards.
• Propose and implement process improvements for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and standards.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Document testing processes, findings, and recommendations.
• Generate detailed reports on product quality, issues, and metrics.
• Maintain accurate records of quality-related activities.

Collaboration:

• Work with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and product managers, to address quality concerns.
• Provide feedback and recommendations for product and process improvements.
• Participate in project meetings to discuss quality objectives and requirements.
• Compliance and Standards:
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards and industry best practices.
• Stay updated with advancements in testing tools, methodologies, and trends.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with automated and manual testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, TestRail).
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile frameworks.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
• Communication Skills:
• Excellent verbal and written communication for effective collaboration and reporting.
• Ability to articulate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in quality assurance or software testing roles.
• Certifications like ISTQB, CSTE, or equivalent are a plus.
