Required Skills (Mandatory) :

Test Architect Experience :

- Years of Experience : 12+ years as a Test Architect with a proven track record in building scalable and robust test architectures.

- Cypress and Automation Frameworks : Deep experience with Cypress for UI and API test automation, and proficient in setting up and refining test frameworks.

- Component and Performance Testing : Strong experience in component testing and performance testing with K6 or similar tools.

- Framework Development : Experience in designing test frameworks from scratch and enhancing existing ones for improved efficiency.

- Process Implementation : Expertise in defining and implementing standardized test processes across multiple projects.

- Technical Knowledge : Understanding of web and application servers, databases (SQL, Oracle), and computer architecture fundamentals.

- Scripting and Programming : Proficiency in scripting and programming, particularly in TypeScript and JavaScript.

- Project Management : Demonstrated ability to manage complex testing programs, maintaining quality, budget, and schedule standards.

- Lifecycle Management : Familiarity with the full software project lifecycle (Waterfall, Agile, DevOps), with a technical understanding of IT systems and software solutions.

- Programming Proficiency : Strong knowledge of OOP principles with experience in programming languages such as TypeScript, JavaScript, Java.

- Automation Framework Expertise : Expertise in automation frameworks, especially Cypress, with hands-on experience in both UI and API level test automation.

- Performance Testing : Proficiency in performance automation testing tools such as K6, with a solid understanding of performance testing methodologies.

- Web Services Knowledge : Experience with microservices and web service technologies like XML, REST, Graph QL, Kafka and SOAP.

- Agile Methodologies : Proven experience in implementing testing frameworks in an Agile environment, particularly for e-commerce and high-traffic web applications.

- Web Performance Infrastructure : Knowledge of CDNs, caching, reverse proxies, Kafka and cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.

- High-Performance Environments : Experience working with high-traffic websites, ensuring stability and efficiency for millions of daily users. Monitoring production efficiency, high availability, leverage dashboards like New Relic, automate proactive production monitoring and devops tools.

- Test Automation Framework Development : Proven skills in developing and enhancing scalable automation frameworks, code libraries, including in-sprint automation and regression testing. Determine best tools and technologies to improve the test automation productivity and performance.

- GenAI Integration : Familiarity with Generative AI (GenAI) concepts and interest in using GenAI for automating test case generation.

- Troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis : Strong analytical skills for efficient troubleshooting and in-depth root cause analysis.

Responsibilities :

- Testing Strategy Development : Develop and oversee strategic plans for comprehensive testing efforts.

- Reusable Test Assets : Define, build, and maintain reusable testing assets and templates for large and complex projects.

- Automation Framework Leadership : Lead the development and enhancement of test automation frameworks for in-sprint and regression testing.

- GenAI for Test Case Generation : Drive the integration of GenAI capabilities to automate test case generation, optimizing coverage and efficiency.

- Client Advisory : Provide technical advice to clients on testing solutions, tools, and best practices, including emerging AI-driven testing approaches.

- Quality Practice Improvement : Elevate quality practices across functional, non-functional, and performance testing.

- Standardization and Best Practices : Define and promote standard testing methodologies, processes, and tools across engagements.

- Program Delivery : Ensure successful delivery of complex test programs, maintaining quality, schedule, and budget requirements.

- Continuous Testing & Assurance : Support the strategic direction of Continuous Testing & Assurance Practice, focusing on innovation and industry-leading practices.

- Business Development Support : Utilize a strong professional network to identify and maximize new business opportunities.

Requirements :

Education and Training :

- Degree : Bachelor's degree in computer engineering and technology, , or a related discipline preferred.
