Job Description
The CPQ Digital Product Manager determines and oversees the IT delivery strategy and roadmap for Intelliquip (IQ) and CPQ products at Celeros FT. This includes coordinating with other IT functions, Commercial Operations, Product Management and Engineering to set priorities, manage new development and operations and provide oversight and direction to the IT Team and associated product vendors.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
Develop a deep understanding of business goals and processes to inform product priorities and improvement recommendations.
Develop strong relationships and regularly communicate with product stakeholders and customers to shape the product strategy and surface and prioritize needs.
- Chairs IQ Governance Committee which includes establishing the appropriate governance structure. Including proper optimization, prioritization and sequencing of the work, resource allocation.
Monitor business, market, and technology trends to inform product strategy and proactively propose new solutions.
Establish product roadmaps and release plans that satisfy requirements and achieve business outcomes.
Continuously monitor and evaluate product performance and proactively champion product improvements.
Determine internal and contract/external resources and skills required for the product team to deliver on the product roadmap.
Develop effective solutions for the business problems in the area.
Lead a team of two technical professionals for CPQ product support.
Lead projects associated to the products he/she owns. Design, implement and deploy enterprise business solutions to promote profitable growth and the maturity of our underlying business processes.
Define, track, and communicate relevant KPIs for the product to measure performance and contribution to business goals and strategy.
Define the engagement success criteria with business users, track and monitor progress during engagements and ensures deliverables are met.
Create documentation to assist business users and IT members in designing & effectively using the solutions developed.
Appropriate communications skills with C-suite leaders, subject matter experts and technical professionals.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Leading multifunctional teams through coaching and influence Deep knowledge and understanding of SAP configuration and functional processes for Product and Project Systems for SAP ECC 6 implemented for Sales, Customer Service and Master Data.
Communication: Clearly and succinctly conveying information and ideas to individuals and groups in a variety of situations; communicating in a focused and compelling way that drives others thoughts and actions
Contributing to Team Success: Actively participating as a member of a team to move the team toward the completion of goals
Initiating Action: Taking prompt action to accomplish objectives; proactively taking action to achieve goals
Managing Work: Effectively managing one s time and resources to ensure that work is completely efficiently
Planning & Organizing: Establishes sources of action for self and others to ensure that work is completed efficiently
Understanding of Data Regulations, Export Compliance and Intellectual Property management processes.
Relationship building and collaboration skills across diverse and matrixed stakeholders and customers.
Ability to surface, prioritize, and balance multiple stakeholder priorities. Strong project management skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Experience determining and overseeing software development initiatives and estimating resource requirements.
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, including experience leveraging data to inform decision making and independently solving software engineering problems.
Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information in a condensed manner to various stakeholders verbally and in writing.
At least 10 years of experience with IT and Sales Systems in large corporations
