Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled Staff Test Automation Engineer with 6 to 10 years of experience in automation and unit testing.

The ideal candidate should have a solid background in both development and testing, with expertise in designing automation frameworks, API testing, and conducting white-box and black-box testing.

This role requires knowledge in both client-side and server-side development, with practical experience using tools like Cypress or Playwright.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and implement robust automation frameworks from scratch, ensuring high standards of quality.

- Perform API, black-box, and white-box testing to validate software functionality.

- Build and integrate CI/CD pipelines to support efficient development and deployment.

- Lead and mentor a team of automation testers, fostering continuous improvement in testing processes.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement comprehensive testing strategies.

- Engage directly with clients to understand requirements, propose solutions, and provide ongoing support.

- Develop and maintain test scripts in JavaScript or TypeScript, ensuring compatibility across frameworks.

- Conduct unit testing, frequently writing and maintaining unit test cases to ensure code quality.

- Work with front-end frameworks like React and support server-side development using Node.js or Java for full-stack testing.

- Apply knowledge of web and server-side application development to support end-to-end testing.

Qualifications :

- 7 to 10 years of software testing experience, with at least 5 years in automation testing.

- Proficient with automation tools and frameworks like Cypress or Playwright.

- Strong expertise in API, black-box, and white-box testing, as well as server-side testing.

- Experience creating CI/CD pipelines for streamlined processes.

- At least 4 years of hands-on experience with JavaScript or TypeScript.

- 5+ years of experience writing and performing unit test cases, with a strong understanding of unit testing frameworks.

- Proficient in server-side development, especially with Node.js.

- Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively communicate with clients.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills :

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

- Knowledge of performance and security testing practices.

- Practical experience with both web and server-side application development to support comprehensive automation testing.
