Job Description
- Category Strategy Development:
- Develop and execute the category strategy to ensure growth, profitability, and alignment with overall business objectives.
- Analyze market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor landscape to identify opportunities and challenges.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to design and implement effective category-level marketing campaigns.
- Product Selection & Inventory Management:
- Curate and maintain a product portfolio that aligns with customer needs and market trends.
- Ensure product assortment is optimized for profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Work with suppliers and internal teams to manage inventory levels, minimize stockouts, and ensure product availability.
- Pricing & Promotions:
- Define and manage category-level pricing strategies to maintain competitiveness and profitability.
- Monitor market dynamics and adjust prices accordingly while ensuring margin targets are met.
- Plan and execute promotions and discounts that drive sales and enhance category performance.
- Supplier & Vendor Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure high-quality products and timely deliveries.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and other contractual agreements to benefit both Boldfit and its partners.
- Conduct regular reviews to ensure suppliers meet performance expectations.
- Sales & Performance Analysis:
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) including sales growth, margin improvement, customer satisfaction, and inventory turnover.
- Regularly assess category performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Present performance insights to senior management, along with recommendations for improvement.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with the marketing, merchandising, operations, and logistics teams to ensure seamless execution of category initiatives.
- Collaborate with the digital marketing team to optimize product listings, SEO, and other e-commerce initiatives.
- Customer Insights & Feedback:
- Leverage customer data, reviews, and feedback to improve product offerings and enhance customer experience.
- Regularly conduct competitive benchmarking to ensure Boldfit remains at the forefront of customer needs.
