Job Description
We are looking for a Sr. Associate - Retention Marketing who will drive user engagement, improve customer retention, and increase lifetime value using data-driven strategies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing and optimizing omni-channel CLM campaigns, including Push notifications, emails, SMS, WhatsApp, and in-app messages.
You will work closely with the Design, Product, Operations and Data teams to create targeted campaigns that enhance user experience and improve conversion rates.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and optimize CLM channels (push notifications, email, SMS, WhatsApp, in-app messaging) to improve conversion rates.
- Conduct A/B testing to improve messaging, timing, and personalization of retention campaigns.
- Ensure timely update and maintenance of all homepage inventories as per segment objectives and retailer promotions.
- Design and implement user segmentation strategies based on behavioral, transactional, and demographic data.
- Track, analyze, and report campaign performance using tools like CleverTap, MoEngage, WebEngage, or Braze .
- Develop automated lifecycle campaigns for onboarding, engagement, reactivation, and win-back strategies.
- Continuously improve campaign ROI by leveraging insights from user analytics and campaign stats.
- Act as the point of contact for channel partners to address operational challenges.
- Oversee consumption for invoicing and maintain partner communications.
Must-Have Skills
CRM Retention Marketing
- Hands-on experience with CRM platforms (CleverTap, MoEngage, WebEngage, Braze, etc.).
- Strong understanding of customer lifecycle management and retention strategies.
- Ability to personalize and automate campaigns using dynamic content and event-based triggers.
Data Analytics Campaign Optimization
- Ability to analyze retention KPIs and user behavior using Google Analytics, SQL, or Excel .
- Experience with A/B testing and data-driven decision-making.
- Strong problem-solving skills to optimize campaigns and improve engagement.
Communication Stakeholder Management
- Strong copywriting and messaging skills for CLM campaigns- push, WhatsApp, email etc.
- Ability to collaborate with Design team and Front-end Operations team for new campaign launches.
- Ability to collaborate with Product Data team for enabling personalization segmentation.
Good-to-Have Skills:
- 3-4 years of experience in CRM, Retention Marketing, or Lifecycle Marketing .
- Hands-on experience with CleverTap, MoEngage, WebEngage, or Moengage .
- Strong analytical skills and experience with Google Analytics, SQL, or Excel .
- Experience in E-commerce, or Consumer Tech is must.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills .
