Job Description

  • Role Summary
  • An energetic person, who will be key part of Carrier Engineering HVAC Product Analytics team, working with Data Analysts, AI/ML Specialists, Domain Experts, Digital Team and Product Managers to evaluate, implement and maintain best practices in model/software quality assurance and continuous improvement, ensuring the Analytics models created and insights generated meet the highest standards of quality and reliability
  • Essential Responsibilities
  • Reviews of design and functional specifications/Algorithms created by Data Analytics, AI/ML Engineers and Domain Experts to understand analytics for predictive maintenance
  • Creation and review of Test scenarios, Test cases, and Test Automation/Frameworks
  • Oversee software/Analytics model quality process, leading continuous process improvement to align with rapidly evolving industry, striving for optimized effectiveness and efficiency
  • Conduct thorough reviews of Physics/Data Driven/ML model outputs and ensure alignment with expected results
  • Coordinate with Digital vertical for data pipelines development for live data streams, monitor the dataflow pipelines and validate the deployed analytics algorithms in cloud environment
  • Use of Python to test ETL frameworks, Data Pre/Post processing, API interactions and generated insights and reports after the Analytics deployment in cloud platform
  • Generate and report quality / performance metrics, test results, and status reports to stakeholders communicate effectively with development, product management and aftermarket teams on quality related matters
  • Required Skills
  • Qualifications: BE/ME or BTech/MTech Electronics or BE/BTech in Electronics or ME/MTech in computer Science with 6+ years of experience in below areas: -
  • Understanding of Data Science Concepts and AI/ML based analytics techniques
  • Strong hands-on experience in Python, Experience in the development of automation scripts in Python
  • Experience in working with Azure, AWS and Lambda APIs, pipelines with AWS Glue jobs, Cloud watch, Amazon Redshift and other stack services
  • Hands-on experience using RDBMS SQL NoSQL databases like Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, MongoDB, DynamoDB etc Strong hands-on experience in Advanced Excel VB Scripts
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Solid knowledge of software quality operating procedures and SOP development and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, GitHub
  • Experienced in DevOps tools for Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment
  • Excellent verbal written communication skills as well as presentation skills, need to be a critical thinker and a self-starter
  • Preferred Skills
  • Experience in developing visualizations using Power BI, experience in Power Query Power Automate
  • ML frameworks and libraries knowledge (TensorFlow, Spark, PyTorch, mlpack)
  • Ability to build/maintain MLOps pipelines comMON DESIRABLE COMPETENCIES
  • Candidate must conduct business in an ethical manner, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with little supervision
  • Know how/where to get answers and overcomes obstacles
  • Highly driven, strong communicator who is able to understand customer requirements and project goals and is able to balance multiple priorities
  • Work in a team environment when required and produce results in a timely manner
  • Possess a positive attitude, show enthusiasm, take pride in the work, be results driven, keen to learn, creative and efficient
