Key Deliverables and Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development: Develop and implement supply chain and warehouse strategies aligned with business objectives and vision. Create 3-5 year rolling business plans and annual plans.
- Budget Management: Prepare and manage the annual and periodic budget for the supply chain and warehouse operations. Set objectives for each department and cascade goals to all employees within these departments.
- Performance Monitoring: Regularly monitor and review performance metrics, taking corrective action when deviations occur. Foster a best practice sharing culture to enhance operational performance, brand reputation, customer experience, and employee accountability.
- Operational Oversight: Manage daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, order fulfilment, and shipping. Ensure accurate inventory records through regular audits and cycle counts.
- Vendor and Supplier Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors. Negotiate contracts and ensure timely procurement of inventory.
- Cost and Risk Management: Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and develop mitigation strategies for potential supply chain risks.
- Technology Implementation: Utilize and manage warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant technology to streamline operations as per Policies
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure warehouse operations comply with health, safety, and regulatory requirements. Conduct regular safety audits and promote a culture of safety.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, and manage warehouse staff. Set performance goals, conduct evaluations, and maintain a stable, committed team.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as purchasing, merchandising, sales, and customer service to ensure alignment and efficiency.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on supply chain and warehouse performance to senior management.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Brand Reputation: Maintain brand reputation and PR. Build a culture of excellence, customer centricity, and uber-luxury.
- Stakeholder Relationships: Maintain relationships with key stakeholders such as suppliers, internal Clients and management
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Exceptional Circumstances: For any exceptional circumstances requiring adjustments, obtain written approval from management.

- Inventory Turnover Rate
- Order Fulfilment Accuracy
- Warehouse Operating Costs
- Supply Chain Cost Savings
- Supplier Lead Time and Reliability
- Employee Productivity and Turnover Rates
- Internal Customer Satisfaction and Order Delivery Timelines
- Profitability / Adherence to Budgets and Ratios (Month on Month and QonQ)
- Product Mix Sale Volumes (as per plan, Month on Month, QonQ and Annual)
- CSAT and Brand Audit Scores (CSAT here stands for Internal Customer i.e front end team)
- ESAT Scores and Attrition
- Team Efficiency/Productivity
- Retail Audit and Compliance Standards, Observations
- Adherence to Organizational Initiatives and Strategy as per AOP
D. Reporting Relationships:
- Reporting to: SVP- Finance with dotted line reporting to COO
- Direct Reports: Warehouse Managers, Supply Chain Managers, Procurement Managers, Inventory Control Managers, E- Com Managers, Inward/ outward managers.
E. Decision Making Authority:
- Resource, Budget Allocation, and Spends
- People Allocation, Performance Evaluation
- Recruitment and Recommending Separation from Service
- As specified in the company policies
F. Budgetary Guidelines/Limitations:
- Ownership of a Budget as per AOP
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 18-20 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent leadership and team management abilities. Proficient in supply chain and warehouse management systems and technologies.
- Attributes: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
