Nurse

As a Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, assisting with medical procedures, and ensuring the well-being of patients in a clinical or healthcare setting. You will work closely with doctors, other nurses, and healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Patient Care:

• Provide direct patient care by monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with daily living activities.
• Observe and assess patient conditions, documenting changes in health status and communicating findings to physicians.
• Assist patients with mobility, hygiene, dressing, and other personal care needs.
• Provide wound care, including dressing changes and the prevention of infections.

2. Medication Management:

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments as per doctors orders.
• Monitor patients for side effects or reactions to medications.
• Maintain accurate records of medications administered, including dosage and timing.

3. Medical Assistance:

• Assist in medical procedures and surgeries, preparing equipment and maintaining sterile environments.
• Take blood samples, administer vaccines, and perform other diagnostic tests as directed by the doctor.
• Provide post-operative care and assist with patient recovery.

4. Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain and update patient records, ensuring accurate documentation of care provided.
• Prepare and present reports on patient conditions, progress, and treatments.
• Communicate patient concerns and health updates to doctors, family members, and other healthcare team members.

5. Patient Education and Support:

• Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and care instructions.
• Offer emotional and psychological support to patients and families dealing with medical conditions or illnesses.
• Promote patient comfort and provide information on post-care and recovery steps.

6. Infection Control & Safety:

• Adhere to safety, hygiene, and infection control protocols to ensure the health and safety of patients and staff.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment in patient care areas.
• Follow proper handling and disposal of medical waste and contaminated materials.

7. Team Collaboration:

• Work collaboratively with doctors, healthcare teams, and other nurses to deliver comprehensive care to patients.
• Participate in team meetings, share observations, and contribute to patient care planning.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Diploma or Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Licensing: Valid nursing license (local/national) as required.
• Experience: Proven experience in a clinical or hospital setting, with a minimum of [X] years of experience (optional).
