Key skills for the job
1. Define category and market share growing innovation and communication strategies based on insights and enhancing brand value.
2. Develop and communicate effective marketing plans for the India business unit.
3. Develop communication strategies which resonate with consumer desires and motivate shopper & consumer purchase behavior.
4. Track and monitor competitive marketing programs and implement programs to be effective in the marketplace (i.e. promotions, in store, media, alternative/social media, etc.)
5. Define, execute and monitor brand and product strategies.
6. Establish measurable criteria for success, track and analyze performance with marketing spend, customer conversion rates and consumer retention.
7. Collaborates with the sales teams to develop and manage channel/partner strategies and programs, including product launch management, sales training, presentations and competitive analysis.
8. Collaborates with Product Development and other teams to create strategic programs related to specific ranges, channels, or other priorities that represent the brand's priorities.-
9. Partners with other senior marketing and eCommerce leadership on the brand's comprehensive, full-funnel marketing strategy, as well as the various budget elements within it that require cross-department input and ownership.
10. Manages the marketing budget/spend in India. Ensures alignment with original plan/forecast and identifies spend efficiencies where available. Ensures effective control of marketing results and takes corrective action to guarantee that achievement of marketing objectives falls within the designated budgets.
