Job Description Job Purpose As a DevOps Engineer, your primary purpose is to bridge the gap between software development and IT operations by implementing and managing continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. You will ensure the seamless delivery of high-quality software products by automating processes, enhancing system reliability, and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Your role is crucial in optimizing the software development lifecycle, reducing time-to-market, and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure. Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and efficient infrastructure solutions. Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to automate and streamline deployment processes. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability of services. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration and delivery. Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. Ensure security best practices are followed and integrated into the DevOps processes. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the team. Knowledge and Experience Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or related role. Strong proficiency with CI/CD platforms such as Azure DevOps or Jenkins. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Solid development experience with .NET and Java platforms. Experience with database development using MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc. Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes. Experience with DevOps tools like source-control (Git, TFVC) and repository managers (Artifactory, Nexus, and/or Azure Artifacts). Proficiency with Windows Server and Linux operating systems. Solid understanding of networking, security, and system administration. Familiarity with SDLC processes particularly with Scrum. Excellent analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. 5 to 10 years of experience and any Degree Schedule This role offers work from home flexibility of one day per week.
