Job Summary
Lead/Senior Software Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps
About the Role:
Lead/Senior Software Engineer to play a key role in modernizing Voice server critical infrastructure. Focus on migrating existing voice servers, currently hosted on Windows, to a robust and scalable cloud-native environment using containerization technologies. Engg. will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the new infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
Responsibilities:
Lead the migration of the voice server from Windows to a containerized environment (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Design and implement a scalable and resilient cloud-native architecture for the voice server.
Integrate the voice server with other cloud services (e.g., storage, databases, messaging queues).
Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery capabilities for the voice server infrastructure.
Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and scaling using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
Monitor and optimize the performance and resource utilization of the voice server.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the cloud infrastructure and voice server.
Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in systems engineering, cloud computing, and DevOps.
Strong experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools.
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) is a must.
Strong understanding of networking, security, and system administration concepts.
Good to have experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
