Oracle Retail Technical Consultant

Role & responsibilities

Design and develop Oracle Retail RICEW components

• Able to work on Oracle tools SQL, PL/SQL, Pro*C, UNIX Shell Scripts

• Design and develop Batch programs using Shell script and Pro*C, BI reports and ADF forms

• Develop good understanding on industry leading practice and independently derive the solution

• Identify and understand architectural pieces, provide direction and technical expertise in design, development and systems integration

• Able to make quick decisions and solve technical problems to provide an efficient environment for project implementation

• Excellent communication skills (Written and verbal) and should be able to independently engage with business stakeholders throughout various phases of Oracle RMS/ReIM/ReSA/RPM/ Allocations/RIB implementation project

• Able to provide technical training to teams when required and serve as a technical mentor to team members

• Provide timely updates to the team leads/supervisor/project manager

Key Skills

• 1 to 4 years of technical experience in Oracle RMS implementation/ upgrade projects

• Should have strong expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, Pro*C, Shell script and analytical skills

• Should have hands on experience in FRICEW components

• Experience in designing, developing, deploying, testing and maintaining technical FRICEW objects

• Good communication skills (Verbal and Written) ,to be able to articulate the problems and make design decision

• Should of good understanding of oracle implementation methodologies such as AIM

• Knowledge in ADF, ODI, Informatica, OBIEE, SOA or Oracle Cloud will be an added advantage • Should have worked on at least two of the modules such as RMS, ReIM, ReSA, RTM, RPM, Allocations, RIB modules

Education: Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science / MCA / M.Sc / MBA

• 3-6 years of experience in design, implementation, and support of master data management applications and familiarity with ERP/EPM/BI applications

• Experience in building and leading large-scale MDM implementation projects

• Strong understanding of data governance concepts and master data management best practices

• Understanding of cloud-based SaaS and PaaS market offerings

• Strong knowledge of business workflows and change process

Preferred:

• Should have experience of 2-5 end to end implementations in EDMCS/DRM/DRG

• Proficiency in creation of Registering Applications, managing Node Types, properties, Viewpoints, Create Requests, Export Data, User access set up, Migration and Automate tasks in EDMCS

• Proficiency in creation of versions, Hierarchies, Properties, Validations, Node types, Node Access groups and User Management setup in DRM

• Proficient in building designing and building required Exports for downstream applications in DRM

• Should have experience on creating Imports, Blenders and loading metadata using Action scripts in DRM

• Deep understanding of the metadata, dimensions, attributes and integration with Oracle Financial Cloud and other Cloud EPM products like PBCS/EPBCS/FCCS.

• Experience in REST API's, Oracle Data Management/FDMEE, PowerShell, Groovy

• Experience of Master data application migration from On-premises to Cloud
