Job Title: Lead- Data and Analytics

Job Description:

We are seeking highly skilled personnel to join our team at a leadership level. The ideal candidate will possess both technical and client presentation skills, and will be responsible for leading complex data projects and communicating insights to clients.

Responsibilities:

- Lead the development and implementation of data-driven solutions for clients

- Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and develop solutions to meet those needs

- Develop statistical models and algorithms to analyze complex data sets

- Analyze and interpret data to identify patterns and trends

- Communicate insights and findings to clients in a clear and concise manner

- Mentor and train junior data analysts on technical and client presentation skills

- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in data science and analytics.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field

- 6+ years of experience in data science or analytics

- Strong programming skills in Python and SQL

- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI or QlikView would be an added benefit

- Experience with SQL and relational databases

- Strong client presentation and communication skills

- Ability to lead a team and work collaboratively with other departments

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Experience in working in databricks / snowflake / GCP

Skills and Expertise

1. Advanced statistical analysis: should have a deep understanding of statistical concepts and techniques and be able to apply them to real-world problems.
2. Data wrangling: should have expertise in collecting, cleaning, and organizing large and complex data sets.
3. Programming skills: should be proficient in programming languages such as Python and SQL and be able to develop scalable and maintainable code.
4. Business acumen: should have a strong understanding of business operations and be able to develop data-driven solutions that align with organizational goals.
5. Communication skills: should be able to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
6. Leadership skills: should be able to lead a team of data scientists and work collaboratively with other departments to develop and implement data-driven solutions.
7. Project management: should be able to manage complex data projects from start to finish, including scoping, planning, execution, and delivery. Resource planning and prioritization.
8. Continuous learning: should have a passion for continuous learning and be able to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science and analytics.
