Job Description
- 5+ Years of IT experience primarily on HP Nonstop
- System support Experience with OS upgrades, TLS upgrades, software installation on HP Nonstop
- HP Nonstop Utilities (Mandatory)
- Must have knowledge on MEDIACOM, VIEWPT, EMS, Monitoring, CLIM upgrades, Third party software installation on HP Nonstop.
- Experience in Enscribe, Pathway, FUP, INSPECT, DDL, Enform, Batchcom etc.
- Strong knowledge on Prognosis monitoring tool.
- Strong knowledge on Payment switch domain for debit cards.
- Good understanding of HSM and other security modules within switching applications
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging skills to resolve production incidents and defects.
- Excellent Verbal, written communication and presentation skills.
- Self-starter with the demonstrated ability to work both independently and with cross-functional teams
- Flexibility with working in overlapping hours.
Primary Skill
- Review HP Software announcements for Software Product Releases
- Support Network configuration changes as well as System Utility tools (SCF, MEASURE, TMF, Software Essentials, etc.)
- Backup and Restore setup and maintenance
- Research new technologies related to the NonStop systems
- Assist with planning and installation of new HP NonStop system platforms as well as updates
- Research HOT Stuff and SPRs for potential issues or compatibilities with current environment
- Address Non-Stop Hardware and Software errors, review using EMS, WebViewpt and Prognosis
- Install New Operating Systems across multiple NonStop Platforms (Prod, Cert, Dev, Test)
- Perform the needed research to implement new Operating Systems in various environments on HPE NS7X & NS3X platforms.
- Open tickets with HP Global Support Center and track progress to find resolution.
